Pipe Opal and Wood Replacement Opal is a term to describe natural opals that forms in pipe/tube - like structures. Usually in sandstone. It is believed to be wood branch, tree roots or leaf matter that has become Opalised.
The Opal has a beautiful and unique natural Opal pattern with gorgeous purple and green and hints of red glittering natural opal colours.
The Opal is set in a simple modern silver pendant design.
