A family-run business with over 20 years of experience in cutting and polishing beautiful Australian opals. We have a wide range of unique, one-of-a-kind Australian solid opal Rings, Pendants and Earrings, in both Silver and Gold.

The main difference between our shop and a lot of other jewellery shops, is that we only use natural Solid Australian Opals, we do not sell any man-made Opals such as doublets or triplets.

We believe Opal should be worn, that’s why we design and make our jewellery for everyday wear, not just for special occasions.

In addition to providing beautifully crafted pieces, we are also happy to offer guidance on the different types of opals, their value, and advice opal cutting. We welcome you to visit us and explore our selection.

A member of the Australian Opal Association since 2012. John has also passed the Australian Opal Associations Opal identification certification tests, which allows him to provide certificates of authenticity for our Opal Jewellery. The Australian Opal Shop, is located at 186 Brisbane Road, Arundel 4214 on the Gold Coast, with free car parking out the front.
