This beautiful Sandstone Opal Matrix (fairy opal) bracelet, is made from round beads which have been hand shaped and polished. Each opal bead has its own unique opal colour and pattern.
The Sandstone Opal Matrix was mined in Western Queensland near the town of Winton.
Fairy Opal is the name given to natural sandstone opal matrix (sandstone with speaks of opal colour) that has been cooked and burnt with cooking oil to blacken the sandstone, which in turn, makes it easier to see the opal colours.
A Certificate of Authenticity stating that the opal in the Bracelet is a Solid Australian Opal is included.
