The opal is a solid Queensland Sandstone Opal Matrix with beautiful blue and Green colour specks. It has been attached to a high quality Spring steel Clip.

This stunning Opal was mined in Western Queensland, near the town of Winton.
The Opal used in the money Clip is natural sandstone opal matrix (sandstone with speaks of opal colour), that has been cooked and burnt with cooking oil to blacken the sandstone, which in turn, makes it easier to see the opal colours. The Opal is not affected by the cooking.
